Parish Ministries at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish provide essential leadership, oversight, and service to the spiritual and practical life of our community. These ministries are composed of parishioners who offer their time, wisdom, and expertise to guide our mission forward with faithfulness and integrity. They ensure that our parish not only functions smoothly but remains rooted in prayerful discernment and responsible stewardship.
These ministries include the Pastoral Council, Finance Council, Liturgy Committee,
Facilities Mission Team, and other leadership or advisory groups. Each one plays a unique and vital role: the Pastoral Councilconsults on the vision and priorities of parish life; the Finance Council ensures that we are good stewards of the gifts we receive; the Liturgy Committee helps foster prayerful and beautiful worship; and administrative committees help care for the physical and organizational well-being of the parish.
While these ministries often work behind the scenes, their impact is far-reaching. They help us discern how to best respond to the Holy Spirit’s call at this moment in our history—supporting our shift from maintenance to mission. Through prayer, collaboration, and a spirit of service, these parish ministries help form the structure that allows all other ministries to flourish. In their faithful leadership, they model what it means to serve the Church with both heart and competence.
