St. Joseph The Worker Parish results from the merger of eight churches of the East Pittsburgh community.
St. Joseph the Worker began on May 1st, 2020. The eight great churches resulted from
previous parish consolidations in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. If we go back to the earliest
parishes within the area of the present-day boundaries of St. Joseph the Worker, combined with the recent consolidations, the number of parishes jumps to twenty-two. The history of St. Joseph the Worker is abundantly rich. More information on the history of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish will be listed on this site in the future.
