Volunteer
The Festival is a major fundraiser for our Parish. We need many volunteers from the Parish to make it a successful event. Please consider helping out. Perhaps your family would be willing to volunteer together, or maybe you are a high school student in need of community service hours. This is a great way to help out your community and church. Please fill out the form below and drop it in the collection basket at mass or drop it off at the Parish Office.

Calling All Bakers!
The Lenten Fish Fry bake sale had such a delicious variety of baked goods that one question comes to mind: which baked good was the tastiest?  The Parish Festival on August 5th  is going to have a baked goods contest to seek an answer to the question, so dust the flour off your baking hats and prepare your signature desserts!
There will be 5 categories: pies, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and specialty items (Pizzelles, nut rolls, lemon bars, brownies, ect) Special tables will be set up for the contest items. They will be sold after the judging to the highest bidder!  Cakes and pies will be missing a piece or two. The dessert refrigerator will be used for the contest entries and will not be available to the bake sale.
Be the first in the Parish to win a BIG BLUE RIBBON on your bakng skills and bragging rights for a year!!
An entry form is in the bulletin or can be downloaded from the website (see below) with the rules and requirements for a successful entry. You may have multiple entries in any of the categories as you wish!

Chinese Auction Donations
A fun event at every festival is the Chinese Auction of gift baskets!  At our Summer Fest this year (Saturday, August 5, 2023), we are hoping to have many baskets that folks can win!  You can help make the baskets great!  If you would like to donate a basket (or perhaps you could get your workplace to sponsor a basket), that would be amazing.  Please contact Cheryl Kirkland at 412-351-6710.  Here's another way you can help... if you have unused Gift Cards-- please donate them to the Parish for the Festival baskets.  If you also have new, unused gifts that folks have given to you but you cannot use them (like tickets to sporting events, candles, Christmas items, kitchen items, purses, jewelry, new crafts, bottles of alcohol,  etc.) we would be honored if you would donate them to the Parish for the Chinese Auction baskets!  You can drop off your gift cards and your new items at the Parish Center or call Cheryl for pick up!  Many thanks in advance for your help!
